Category: Industrial
Size: Small
Condition: Spacious, noisy, always busy
Inhabitants: a few squatters (formerly)
Description
A factory owned by MonumentArchitecture. This factory is used to mass produce generic room cubes which are linked together to form the basic architecture for housing. The rooms are mostly standardised and are made completely of the same lightweight plastic. The factory produces three to four models with different door placements. This facility is comprised of a main factory area and warehouse. Both have 8 ft by 8 ft doors that workers can transport prefabricated components through. There is also a loading bay next to the factory so the rooms can be moved and installed anywhere in MDZ.
Extra prefabs are left in the warehouse waiting for future customers. A week and a half ago, some workers found squatters sleeping in a couple of the prefabs. MonumentArchitecture’s security forces did a sweep of the warehouse and threw any squatters they found out into the street. MonumentArchitecture has tripled its security detail on the warehouse since then to avoid a repeat incident.
